Your Host: LAUREN MUSSELMAN

Lauren, 500hr E-RYT and former “farm-girl” gone “big city” hails from New York City. She rounds out her resume with certifications in personal training and health coaching. An extensive background in hospitality coupled with a deep love for travel and adventure reflect Lauren’s robust personality. While yoga provides her with a catalyst to keep a healthy body and mind; it certainly proved to be the perfect recipe to feed Lauren’s appetite for equanimity. Employing her training as a dancer, Lauren prides herself on using noteworthy music and personalized attention for each and every “body.” Her classes are designed to encourage practitioners to stay present while pushing their boundaries through vigorous, yet graceful, sequencing. She believes “the rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind, and the harmony of the soul creates the symphony of life.”


Teaching mostly in New York City and The Hamptons, Lauren leads weekly classes at Sweat Yoga NYC, Yoga Shanti, and House of Jai Yoga. She also holds a lead faculty position with the Sweat Yoga Teacher Training and has taught all over the world including annual workshop retreats in Sweden and 200hr Teacher Trainings in Rishikesh, India.

Your Host: CELIA POLYZOU

Born and raised in Greece, Celia moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2012 to pursue a Masters degree and a career in the music industry. After realizing that the most rewarding journey is the journey inside, Celia founded CANYON TRIBE in an effort to share the healing powers of a healthy and balanced lifestyle. A world traveler, rock’n’roll devotee and follower of all physical and spiritual practices, she believes that the key to a happy life is embracing your unique and authentic self.

Celia completed her Yoga Teacher Training (RYT-200), 100hr Mindfulness Meditation Training and 500hr Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training in Los Angeles, CA. She is currently teaching private classes and working on completing her 75hr Jivamukti Yoga® Teacher Training.
